Keyword Research Framework – Airtable Database
A permissionless addition to the "Compound Content" digital course by Jack Butcher and Simon Hilton.
The benefits of having a database instead of excel sheets have been creeping up on me for the past couple of years. I've been using Airtable professionally for the past 3 years, building everything from PMS-systems to content management bases.
I've found it to be easier to find what I need in a database, as it's natural to filter, sort and categorise data in there depending on your needs for the moment.
I saw an opportunity with the Keyword Research Framework when looking at the excel sheet that Jack and Simon had developed to make it in to a base.
It's fairly basic as of now. If you haven't used Airtable or databases previously, you're probably better off with the google sheet for now. I'll try to make some introductory videos explaining my thinking in detail of how this can be used.
I'll be looking to develop the database over time. If you have any ideas for improvements, please let me know and I'll try to implement them. The same goes for if you have a question, just reach out!
The things you'll get:
- An Airtable structured similarly to the Google sheet Jack and Simon put together
- A quick introduction to how Airtable and this particular base works
- Infinite updates to the base and instructions on how to transfer the data you've been putting in to it to the updated version.
The Keyword Research Framework isn't mine by any right. It's a tool from the course "Compound Content". If you want to learn how to use it, buy the course.
